Huawei reveals Pura 90 Plus with 1 TB and 1-inch sensor shortly before launch

Huawei has already opened reservations for the brand-new Huawei Pura 90 Plus in China, confirming that the premium mid-range smartphone will be officially unveiled on Wednesday, October 28. The device will be available in four colors – white, gold, black and with an orange-to-purple gradient.
The smartphone always comes with 12 GB of RAM, but is available with a choice of 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of flash storage. The design differs from older models such as the Huawei Pura 90s Pro, as Huawei has surprisingly opted for a rounded rather than flat frame, bucking the current trend. The triangular camera module with three lenses, on the other hand, is typical of Huawei, as is the gradient back.
While Huawei has not yet confirmed any specifications, Huawei Central has learned that the Pura 90 Plus is equipped with a new HiSilicon Kirin 9025 ARM chip, which is reportedly a notable 19 percent faster than the Kirin 9020 in the Pura 80 Pro. Meanwhile, a highly reliable leaker has revealed initial details about the cameras.
According to the leak, Huawei is using a 50-megapixel main camera that combines a particularly large 1-inch sensor with a variable-aperture lens. Huawei is also reportedly using a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. Details about the remaining specifications, pricing and availability should be confirmed no later than the launch on October 28.
