Huawei Router X2 Pro disguises itself as book with magnetic spine

Huawei has repeatedly shown over the years that Wi-Fi routers don't have to look boring. The latest router from the Chinese technology giant now aims to be as inconspicuous as possible. To this end, the design of the router was inspired by a book. The casing comes in light gray, and the spine attaches magnetically to it.
This makes it possible to change the color, with Huawei offering spines in brown, green, white, and a wood-look finish. According to Huawei, this design is also ideal for crafting, painting, or 3D-printing your own spine with a more elaborate design to give the router a personal touch. Technically, it is a fairly ordinary Wi-Fi router, albeit one with modern features.
The Huawei Router X2 Pro supports Wi-Fi 7 and is said to achieve data rates of up to 3,570 Mbit/s by combining the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Huawei includes one 2.5 Gbit/s and three Gigabit Ethernet ports. Power consumption during operation is said to peak at 18 watts. The router can also connect via Bluetooth to a companion smartphone app, which not only allows users to configure the router but also provides recommendations on where to place it.
