With less than three weeks to go, the hype for GTA 6 is at an all-time high. We know that the game is going to be massive, both in terms of scope and game size. Now, a new leak has detailed the number of missions that will be part of the main story, and more.

The information comes from remus_r on X, and it claims GTA 6 will feature 201 main story missions, two prologues, an epilogue, multiple flashbacks, all split into nine total chapters. That’s a lot of missions for just the story, which makes it seem unlikely.

In the comments, the author clarifies that 201 is just the main story missions, and all side quests, encounters, etc. are not included in this number. There are also commenters who have raised doubts about remus_r’s claims, as they come without any source. The leaker's X profile shows only five posts, all related to GTA 6. They also posted a couple of days ago (October 26) about the game’s size, claiming it will be 230 GB. Now that it has been revealed to be 210 GB, the leaker clarified that it will be 230 GB after the day one patch. That seems unlikely as well.

As for the two prologues, it is being said that players will get to experience the opening storylines of Jason and Lucia separately. That's according to one of the comments on the post. And for the flashbacks, we know that Jason has a military background, and there were a couple of scenes in the recent launch trailer that showed him in military gear. Those could be part of a flashback, but it’s impossible to confirm at this point.
