Oppo confirms global release for compact high-end tablet

The Oppo Pad Mini launched in China earlier this year as a high-end Android tablet with an 8.8-inch AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 8-series chipset. Oppo has now confirmed its upcoming release in several international markets.

The Oppo Pad Mini launched in China in April 2026. Now, the company has officially confirmed its release in several global markets.

Oppo India teased the Pad Mini on its X account, confirming that it will be launched soon. Oppo Singapore has also teased the tablet on its official Instagram account. In Thailand, Oppo lists the Pad Mini Matte Display Edition in Lavender Purple with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Meanwhile, Oppo Malaysia’s official website confirms that the tablet will be available on October 22, 2026. The Malaysian listing also shows the tablet in Lavender Purple but does not specify the storage configuration.

It remains to be seen whether the global version of the Oppo Pad Mini will share the same specifications as the Chinese model.

For context, the Chinese variant of the Oppo Pad Mini sports an 8.8-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, an 8,000mAh battery with 67W wired charging, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP front camera. The base variant of the device with an 8GB/256GB configuration is available in China at CNY 3,999 (~$597).
