Teclast launches affordable tablet with 12-inch 2K display, Android 17 and 2TB storage support
Teclast has officially launched the M60 in Japan, following the recent release of the Teclast T60 Mini last week.
The M60 features an 11.97-inch IPS In-Cell display with a 2,000 x 1,200-pixel resolution and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. Teclast also lists eye-protection and reading modes, along with support for screen casting.
The tablet measures 282 x 177 x 8mm (11.1 x 7.0 x 0.31 inches) and weighs around 600g (1.32 lb). It has dual speakers, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It uses a Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 2TB with a microSD card, while virtual memory is also supported.
The M60 has a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash, along with a 5MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. It runs Android 17 and supports Google Widevine L1 for streaming compatible content.
It comes with an 8,000mAh battery, which is smaller than the 9,720mAh battery on Xiaomi's Pad 9. The M60 also supports dual-SIM 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS and Galileo.
Compared with the M60, the Teclast T60 Mini uses a smaller 8.8-inch 2.5K display and a faster Unisoc T7300 processor. In our Geekbench 6.7 comparison, the T7300 scored 924 and 2,249 points in single-core and multi-core tests, compared with 429 and 1,402 points for the T7250.
The M60 also shares some similarities with the Teclast T60 Pro, which we reviewed earlier this year. Both have 12-inch-class displays and the same battery capacity, while the T60 Pro uses the faster MediaTek Helio G99 processor.
Pricing and availability
The M60 is priced at ¥39,900 (about US$254) in Japan, with a launch promotion bringing the price down to ¥21,900 (about US$140) with the coupon code 2026M60A17. The promotion started on September 21 at 9:17 a.m. Japan time and is subject to availability.
The M60 is also listed on Teclast's global website, although the company has only announced pricing for Japan so far.
