Affordable Teclast tablet goes global with 14-inch display and 1TB microSD support

Teclast initially introduced the T70 Pro in July 2026 and later released the affordable tablet in China in August 2026. Now, the pad is officially available to the global market through AliExpress.

The pricing isn't bad for a 14-inch tablet, but it could have been better. Specifically, the Teclast T70 Pro with an EU charger is currently going for $197.03, and there are options to add an additional case and keyboard attachment with the purchase.

Among the core highlights is the 14-inch screen, which could make the T70 Pro a good pick for those who are looking for an affordable tablet for entertainment. Teclast notes that it has 2240x1400 pixels resolution, but it's a 60Hz refresh rate panel, meaning the display won't feel as smooth as some of the other entry-level options on the market.

On the bright side, there's support for Widevine DRM L1, and thanks to the 10,000mAh battery, multi-hour entertainment sessions shouldn't be a problem. While the large battery is a plus, it can only charge at 18W, which isn't fast, so the tablet will take quite a while to get from 0% to 100% charge.

Under the hood, the Teclst T70 Pro packs the Helio G100, an entry-level SoC that's slightly better than the Unisoc SoCs that the company utilizes for some of its other affordable tablets. It's paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There's a microSD card slot that can be equipped with up to a 1TB memory card.

Other highlights include Android 16 out of the box, a desktop mode, dual 4G SIM support, WiFi 5, and a metal chassis with a relatively thin, light design. For those looking for a similarly configured tablet that offers a bit more bang for the buck, the T65 with the 13.4-inch 120Hz display might be a good option.
