Powerful and compact 8.8-inch OLED gaming tablet leaks ahead of launch

iQOO has already confirmed that its upcoming Pad Ultra compact gaming tablet will be officially launched later this month.
The 8.8-inch high-performance tablet is expected to feature an unapologetically gamer-y design, and will be powered by an extremely powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 flagship SoC based on a 2 nm process, much like the Apple A20 Pro.
Courtesy of previous leaks, we expect the tablet to be equipped with a 9000 mAh battery, an OLED display, and a 5.74 mm-thin chassis, although other key details remain unclear.
Now, prominent leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed real-life images of the iQOO Pad Ultra, both from the front and the rear. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the tablet features quite narrow bezels, and its front camera is housed inside a hole punch cutout.

Since the tablet features a built-in fan for thermals, physical fan vents are visible on the sides. Apart from what appears to be volume control buttons and a microphone, nothing else of any particular interest was visible on the sides.
The iQOO Pad Ultra is all set to be launched on the 29th of September. In fact, the company has also revealed two new accessories for the gaming tablet, including a grip case as well as a set of controllers. Pricing and global availability details are scarce as of this writing.
Folks who would rather get themselves a budget-oriented tablet can check out the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, currently available for around $332.49 on Lenovo's official US store (with the code 'EXTRAFIVE' during checkout).
