The recently announced Teclast T60 Mini has been released in China. It stands as an affordable tablet with an 8.8-inch display, which should make it have the same form factor as the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5. There's a microSD card slot with support for up to a 2TB memory card.

Teclast recently introduced the T60 Mini in Japan, and now the company has launched the affordable tablet in China. It's essentially an entry-level tab that could be a good pick for light gaming, entertainment, and moderate productivity workloads.

Specifically, the affordable tablet is powered by the Unisoc T7300, and per benchmarks, it can offer the same level of performance as the lower-end Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. Teclast has paired it with 8GB of RAM, and the display has a 90Hz refresh rate, making the T60 Mini capable of delivering a relatively smoother experience than some other entry-level pads.

Speaking of the display, it's an 8.8-inch screen, which should give the T60 Mini the same form factor as the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5, a high-end option known for being relatively compact. The panel has a 2560x1600-pixel resolution, and Teclast notes a 400-nit brightness rating, meaning the display should be bright enough under regular lighting conditions.

There's a 6,000mAh battery under the hood, which isn't the largest capacity that a tablet of this size comes with, but it should be enough for multi-hour entertainment sessions. Teclast notes that there's support for 18W PD fast charging, which, again, isn't an impressive number.

The microSD card slot is another highlight, and it can hold up to a 2TB memory card. WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, stereo-speaker setup, and dual 4G SIM connectivity are among the other notable aspects of the Teclast T60 Mini.

In China, the T60 Mini is available in one configuration, which comes with 128GB of storage, and it retails for CNY 999, around $149. This affordable tablet is expected to see a wider launch soon, but for those interested, the iPlay 80 Mini Pro, already available globally, offers a similar set of specs (curr. $150.91 on AliExpress).
