Boox Note Air6 C has debuted with a 10.3" Kaleido 3 color E Ink display and a faster 2.9 GHz CPU, delivering smoother page flips and improved performance for reading, sketching, and productivity apps. The tablet runs Android 16 and comes with pen support, fingerprint unlock, dual speakers, quad mics, and Smooth Refresh display technology.

Boox has launched the 10.3-inch Note Air6 C tablet with a paper-like, color E Ink display for reading, notetaking, and sketching. The tablet runs Android 16 OS on a 2.9 Ghz CPU with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, expandable with a microSD card.

The new tablet uses a faster CPU, which is rated to be up to 40% faster in PDF page flips than the CPU used in last year's Note Air5 C. Since it runs Android 16, the Note Air6 C can run apps from the Google Play store, including Microsoft Office for work, Spotify for music, and all the major ebook store apps for reading.

The highlight of the Note Air6 C is the Kaleido 3 color E Ink display capable of displaying 16 levels of grayscale at a resolution of 2,480 x 1,860 pixels and 4096 colors at a resolution of 1,240 x 930 pixels. Text and images can be read under indoor and outdoor lighting without a backlight, although the tablet does come with a front light with adjustable color temperature for better legibility in low light conditions.

The touchscreen supports the use of the Boox Pen3 stylus for drawing and notetaking, with up to 4,096 levels of sensitivity and pen tilt recognition. Extra replacement nibs are stored in the rear of the pen, which magnetically attaches to the tablet. The tablet also comes with AI multilingual transcription for hands-free note-taking in classes, and an optional keyboard cover enables easier long-document editing.

The Note Air6 C utilizes the company's latest Smooth Refresh technology for scrolling text and playing videos more smoothly than conventional E Ink tablets, according to Boox. The tablet also comes with dual speakers and quad mics, enabling it to be used for online calls, music and media playback, and voice recording.

The 440 g (15.5 oz.) Boox tablet is powered by a 3,700 mAh battery and unlocks with a press of the power button, which has an integrated fingerprint reader for security. The optional case can also auto-wake and auto-sleep the tablet.

The Note Air6 C has an MSRP of $579.99 and is available from the company website and Amazon.

Readers can also browse through the company's other offerings, like the reviewed Go 10.3 (Gen II) Lumi, Go 6 (Gen II), Palma 2 Pro, and Tappy, in the Boox store on Amazon.
