The Boox Note Mini C has debuted with an 8.52" Kaleido 3 color E Ink display and an eight-core CPU for reading, sketching, and productivity apps. The tablet runs Android 16 and comes with pen support, fingerprint unlock, dual speakers, a microphone, and Smooth Refresh display technology.

Boox has launched the 8.52-inch Note Mini C e-reader with a paper-like, color E Ink display for reading, note-taking, and sketching. The tablet runs Android 16 OS on an eight-core CPU with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, expandable with a microSD card.

The iPad Mini-sized tablet runs Android 16 OS, so it is compatible with apps from the Google Play Store, including Microsoft Office for work, Spotify for music, and all the major e-book store apps for reading.

The highlight of the Note Mini C is the Kaleido 3 color E Ink display capable of displaying 16 levels of grayscale at a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 and 4,096 colors at a resolution of 1,024 x 768. Text and images can be read under indoor and outdoor lighting without a backlight, although the tablet does come with a front light with adjustable color temperature for better legibility in low light conditions.

The touchscreen supports the use of the Boox InkSight stylus for drawing and note-taking, with up to 4,096 levels of sensitivity, which magnetically attaches to the side of the e-reader.

The Note Mini C utilizes the company's Smooth Refresh technology for scrolling text and playing videos more smoothly than conventional E Ink tablets, according to Boox. The e-reader also comes with dual speakers and a microphone, enabling it to be used for playing music and podcasts or joining online calls.

The 300 g (10.6 oz.) Boox tablet is powered by a 3,150 mAh battery and unlocks with a press of the power button, which has an integrated fingerprint reader for security.

The Note Mini C has an MSRP of $549.99 and will be available for order soon from the company website and Amazon.
