RedMagic confirms October release date for next flagship gaming phone

RedMagic has now expanded upon launch information about its next flagship smartphone. To recap, the company teased on September 20 that the RedMagic 12 Pro+ would debut in October. As we discussed at the time, the RedMagic 11s Pro arrived a mere four months ago globally.

Nonetheless, RedMagic has committed to an October 15 launch event for the RedMagic 12 Pro+. Scheduled for 14:30 local time (06:30 UTC), the event will likely serve to showcase the regular RedMagic 12 Pro as well. Previous releases indicate that RedMagic will outline global launch plans shortly afterwards, too.

In the meantime, RedMagic has revealed that the RedMagic 12 Pro+ will contain a new ICE Magic Cooling System with an active fan and built-in water cooling. Not only that, but the smartphone will feature under-display camera technology, which Samsung no longer offers on its Galaxy Z Fold series.

Moreover, the RedMagic 12 Pro Plus combines RedMagic's new eSports and high refresh rate display chips to complement its Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. Please see RedMagic's website for more details about its next flagship gaming smartphone.
