RedMagic 12 Pro+ shows off unfettered Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 performance on Geekbench 7

RedMagic has scheduled the debut of its next flagship phones for October 15, with the company set to present the RedMagic 12 series on that date. Ahead of that, however, the upcoming RedMagic 12 Pro+ has now been spotted on Geekbench's latest version, showing off what could be the most unrestricted performance from a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 yet.
As seen on Geekbench 7, the RedMagic 12 Pro+, bearing the designation "Nubia NX819J", earned a single-core score of 3,677 and a multi-core score of 12,679. Both of those numbers are some of the highest recorded from a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 device on Geekbench 7 so far, even higher than the OnePlus 16 managed on an early visit to the benchmark platform last month.
Seeing as RedMagic typically offers some of the most powerful Android devices—thanks to better thermals and active cooling in some cases—it's likely that these numbers are as good as it gets for Qualcomm's newest flagship chipset. Compared to the A20 Pro on the iPhone 18 Pro series, the RedMagic 12 Pro+ is about 10% weaker in single-threaded performance, with roles reversed on the multi-core test.
