Sony has revealed a new lineup of games that PS Plus members will be able to claim and download starting next week. The lineup includes F1 2025, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and more.

Sony has finally announced the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for October 2026, giving subscribers three new games to claim. As usual, the monthly titles will be available to members across all three subscription tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium.

New games coming to PS Plus

The first free game is F1 25 (PS5), which is the official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship, giving players the chance to race with the teams, drivers, and cars from the 2025 season. It offers several ways to play, including a traditional Career mode and My Team 2.0, where you can take control as the owner of your own Formula 1 team and manage its journey through the championship. There's also a multiplayer mode, which allows players to race together as a squad against AI-controlled drivers.

Next is Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PS5), an extraction shooter that combines PvE monsters with the constant threat of other players. The objective is to track down dangerous bosses, collect their bounties, and successfully escape before another Hunter takes you out. Players can enter alone or form teams of up to three, choosing their weapons, equipment, and abilities before heading into one of four large maps.

The third and final October game is Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 (PS5, PS4), which once again puts players in charge of defending a square version of Earth from an enormous collection of enemies. Players can expect giant ants, spiders, bees, scorpions, robots, aliens, UFOs, and plenty of other oversized threats. The game also lets you build squads of four using more than 100 collectible characters drawn from across the EDF series, including both mainline games and spin-offs.

That said, Sony has confirmed that all three games will become available starting October 6, and PlayStation Plus members will have until November 2 to claim them. Also, make sure to claim the previous monthly games before they are gone, which include Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes.
