Wolverine's latest update let's you turn off the infamous fart gas

Marvel's Wolverine has been in the news a lot since its release. The latest title is the lowest-rated game in years from PlayStation-owned Insomniac Games. Nevertheless, the game studio has been hard at work trying to improve the experience by releasing updates after updates. A new update has been released and it provides the option to turn off a divisive feature.
The latest update arrives as version 1.002.001, and according to the changelog, the update adds a toggle fo story-related scent trails a.k.a. fart gas. Users will be able to toggle the story-related scent trails by pressing the hint button which is assigned to R3 by default.
This update follows the release of update 1.002.000 released earlier this week which adds support for Quick Spectral Super Resolution (QSSR), the AI-powered upscaling feature made specifically for the base PS5 console.
In addition to the scent trail toggle, players can also turn on/off other scents, audio cues, and Nightmare Door Roots. The changelog also says the new update fixes some community-reported bugs and crashes for improved overall game stability.
The latest update is the fifth since Marvel's Wolverine (available on Amazon for $69) was released on September 15. While it won't be the last, it is nice to see that Insomniac Games is trying its best to improve the experience as quickly as it can.
