The Ugreen P5 has been launched in China, and while it can't offer super-fast charging, it features a sleek design and an integrated USB-C cable. This compact 10,000mAh power bank has an affordable launch price of CNY 119, about $18.

Ugreen has introduced a new power bank in China, the P5, with the model number PB549. This is a 10,000mAh portable charger that doesn't really have a fancy fast-charging rating.

Specifically, the Ugreen P5 is rated to offer up to 22.5W of fast charging, and it's not a wireless power bank either. This wired power output rating is good enough for Apple devices, as Android phones nowadays have support for over 40W of fast charging (10K Baseus PicoGo Qi2.2 power bank with 45W wired charging curr. $55.98 on Amazon).

However, it's worth noting that this Ugreen power bank supports multiple charging protocols, including major ones like PD, QC, SCP, and AFC. That means it can power most devices, including the low-powered ones like wireless earbuds.

Now, while seeing the power bank max out at 22.5W is disappointing, Ugreen highlights the compact overall design of the P5. It has a relatively slim chassis, especially considering that it has a rated 10,000mAh battery capacity, and the lightweight build should make it easier to carry the portable charger around.

The built-in USB-C cable is another highlight, and it makes the power bank more travel-friendly. It's 18.5cm in length (about 7.28 inches), and Ugreen says that it has passed a "10,000 times bending" test.

In addition to the integrated Type-C cable, the Ugreen P5 has one USB-C and one USB-A port. That means it can recharge three devices at the same time, but Ugreen didn't mention the total power output in such a charging configuration. The company did note that the power bank can recharge at 20W, which isn't really a highlight, as, per Ugreen, it will take around 3.1 hours to fully charge.

Other notable aspects include a sleek metallic finish, built-in display, rounded corners, and availability in three color options. The Ugreen P5 launched in China with an affordable price tag, CNY 119, about $18. It's expected to land in the global market soon.
