Bose launches special edition version of QuietComfort Ultra headphones

Bose has teamed up with American fashion designer Thom Browne for a limited-edition version of its QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen), giving the company’s flagship noise-canceling model a distinctly fashion-focused makeover. The collaboration completely retains the headphones’ existing audio, active noise cancellation and feature set.
The standard faux-leather ear pads and headband cushion have been swapped for cashmere, a choice the companies frame as evoking the feel of winter earmuffs. Visually, the design borrows Thom Browne's signature red-white-blue-white stripe motif across the earcups, headband tag and carrying case, with four white stripes marking the left earcup to distinguish it from the right.
As previously mentioned, the headphones bring no new features over the standard model, retaining CustomTune sound and Immersive Audio, while reportedly offering up to 30 hours of battery life with Immersive Audio disabled. The headphones also support Bose’s app and USB-C audio.
The Bose x Thom Browne QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) cost $950, more than twice as expensive as the standard model (normally $449; now discounted 11% for $400 at Amazon). It is available for preorder exclusively through Bose's and Thom Browne's websites, with shipping set to begin September 28.
