Bose brings back wired earphones, and they have Active Noise Cancelling

Although earbuds and Bluetooth headphones are commonplace now, there are still brands, albeit smaller ones, that launch wired headphones/earphones. However, if you have been waiting for a pair of wired earphones from a big brand, Bose has got you covered with its new wired earbuds with noise cancellation.

Officially called the Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds, these are Bose's first wired earphones in a long while. Featuring a USB-C connector, which isn't surprising since the audio jack has become a rarity on smartphones these days, the Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds have an in-ear design with silicone eartips for a secure seal and stability wings to lock them in place like the Bose SoundSport In-Ear Headphones (available on Amazon for $59.99).

The highlight of the Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds is that they feature Bose's QuietControl technology which filters out unwanted sounds during playback. Bose says the noise cancellation works by drawing power from the host device (phone/tablet/laptop/handheld).

The earphones also have an in-line remote with a microphone and buttons for switching between noise cancelling modes (Quiet, Aware, and ANC-off), adjusting the volume, controlling playback, and answering calls. The Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds are rated IPX4 for water resistance, which means they should survive splashes and sweat, but not immersion in water.

Priced at $99, the Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds will be released on October 13 but are available to pre-order now in Black, White Smoke, and a limited edition color called Dewdrop Mint. Each pair comes with three sizes of eartips and two sizes of stability wings, so you can find a perfect seal and fit.
