Nothing Headphone (1) Pro leak reveals design and features

Earlier this month, some initial information about the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro surfaced, hinting at a Metropolis Studio collaboration. It mentioned some of the specifications that are expected from the Pro model, and now a new leak has reiterated those features, along with providing the design and color options.

The information comes from Roland Quandt of Winfuture, and it details the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro over-ear headphones. These will be the third launch for Nothing’s audio department following the original Headphone (1) ($219 on Amazon) and the relatively budget-friendly Headphone (a) ($159 on Amazon). The Pro model is said to feature a triple speaker layout to handle the bass and midrange, alongside an xMEMS driver for the highs. Hi-Res Audio and LDAC support is expected via both wired and wireless connections.

Speaking of connections, the Headphone (1) Pro is said to feature Bluetooth 6.1, a 3.5mm jack, and a USB Type-C port, all of which will transmit audio. There will be a total of 10 microphones, allowing for adaptive active noise cancellation. The Headphone (1) Pro is also said to come with head tracking and spatial audio.

Battery life is said to be up to 60 hours with ANC off. It is unclear if this is for the AAC or LDAC codec. For reference, Nothing specifies up to 80 hours with ANC off on AAC and up to 54 hours with ANC off on LDAC for the Headphone (1).

As for the build and design, the report states they will be made of aluminum and scratch-resistant glass. IP52 dust and water resistance rating will come along. The Headphone (1) Pro retains the transparent shell, but it seems like the glass is frosted this time around. Black and white color options are expected with the Pros, just like the base model.

While Nothing has shared no information on the Pro headphones, the announcement is expected on September 29, with a price tag of €349 (around $397).
