iQOO has officially confirmed its next performance-oriented smartphone: the iQOO Neo 12. The phone is confirmed to feature a 20% larger battery than its predecessor, a Snapdragon 8-series chipset, and a 185Hz display.

The iQOO Neo 11 was launched in China in October 2025. Now, the company has officially confirmed its successor: the Neo 12. Following earlier leaks, the company has revealed several specifications of the device.

The upcoming iQOO Neo 12 will pack a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery (25K Anker powerbank curr. $119.98 on Amazon). This is a notable upgrade over the iQOO Neo 11, which featured a 7,500mAh cell.

Additionally, the iQOO Neo 12 is confirmed to feature a display with a "2K" resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. The panel uses pTSF OLED technology. According to iQOO’s Neo series product manager on Weibo, the company worked with Visionox and Tsinghua University on new light-emitting materials designed to improve display clarity and reduce power consumption.

The Neo 12 will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with iQOO’s self-developed Q3 gaming chip. For cooling, iQOO has confirmed a built-in fan.

In contrast, the iQOO Neo 11 featured a 144Hz display and a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It also lacked a built-in cooling fan. The exact launch date of the iQOO Neo 12 has yet to be announced, though the company has confirmed an October 2026 launch in China.
