Xiaomi is continuing to roll out its new TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) across Europe. This upgraded model was spotted in a global product listing earlier this year and has since been released in the UK.
Most recently, the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) launched in Germany, where it is currently priced at €59.99. It is also available at the Mi Store in Spain, though it has a higher RRP here of €69.99. Customers in both countries are advised that delivery will take two to five days, with free shipping coupons available on the product pages.
The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) is designed to be plugged into a TV, projector or monitor, bringing access to Google TV. Users can stream content from a range of apps, including Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime Video, or wirelessly share content from a smartphone using Google Cast. Plus, the gadget brings support for Google Assistant voice commands, making it even easier to search for content to watch.
Xiaomi’s TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) supports 4K decoding, with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ video, and Dolby Atmos and DTS-X audio. It connects to the host device via HDMI, with connectivity options including Bluetooth 5.2 and dual-band Wi-Fi 6. It is powered by a Quad-core Cortex-A55 and an ARM G310 V2 GPU, and comes with a remote control. It remains to be seen when the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) will be officially launched in more European countries, like the Netherlands and France.
