The Thomson MG7C15 MiniLED Google TV is now available in Europe. This relatively affordable model was announced in 2024 and then on show at IFA 2025. It is available in five sizes: 43 inch, 50 inch, 55 inch, 65 inch and 75 inch.
The MG7C15 is a 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160 px) resolution MiniLED TV with a native 144 Hz refresh rate. The number of dimming zones varies from 80 for the 43 inch device up to 720 for the 75-inch TV. Similarly, the peak brightness differs by size, with the largest two options offering up to 1,300 nits of brightness. With a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, the model supports Dolby Vision and HDR10, with a range of modes including Dynamic, Movie and Game.
Thomson’s MG7C15 offers the Google TV interface, through which users can access a range of streaming services like Netflix, YouTube and Apple TV. This also brings support for Google Assistant voice commands and Google Cast wireless screencasting. There is an integrated 2.1 channel sound system, compatible with Dolby Atmos, and a range of ports such as four HDMI (two 2.0 and two 2.0), USB 3.0 and S/PDIF.
You can now buy the Thomson MG7C15 MiniLED Google TV in various European countries. For example, it is sold at Boulanger in France; it is unclear when these products will be available to purchase directly from Thomson. Prices start from €499 for the 43 inch model, and go up to €1,299 for the 75 inch model.
