Chinese company Palm Computer has recently announced the Palmshell NeXT H2, a new mini server and single-board computer. Of note, the variant with an enclosure can be equipped with up to six external antennas for WiFi, Bluetooth, and 4G/5G connectivity.
The machine is powered by an AMD Ryzen Embedded R1505G processor with two Zen cores boosting up to 3.3 GHz and Radeon Vega 3 integrated graphics. Cooling it is a copper heatsink equipped with a 3,000 RPM blower fan. Furthermore, the NeXT H2 features two DDR4 SODIMM slots, a PCIe 3.0 M.2 slot for storage, and a pair of SATA connectors.
Connectivity consists of four USB-A ports (2x 10 Gbps + 2x 480 Mpbs), two HDMI 2.0, an eDP connector, a microSD card reader, 2.5GbE LAN, and a couple of SFP+ cages. Also present is an M.2 E-key slot with support for WiFi and Bluetooth cards and an M.2 3042 B-key slot for adding a 4G/5G module.
