SimplyNUC Onyx: 4X4 motherboard now available at cheaper starting price with Intel Core i5-13500H, Core i7-13700H and Core i9-13900H processors
SimplyNUC has expanded its Onyx mini-PC series less than two months after the company began selling its Intel Raptor Lake-H-based mini-PCs. For context, the NUC130Xi5, NUC130Xi7 and NUC130Xv9 arrived first for US$699, US$849 and US$999 fully configured, respectively. As their names imply, SimplyNUC bases the NUC130Xi5 around the Core i5-13500H, with the Core i7-13700H powering the NUC130Xi7 and the Core i9-13900H heading up the NUC130Xv9.
Now, the company has begun selling the trio without their accompanying cases. As a result, the Onyx series is now slightly cheaper than it was previously, with prices starting at US$619 for a fully configured NUC130XBi5 with a Core i5-13500H processor. Alternatively, the NUC130XBi7 and NUC130XBv9 start at US$769 and US$919, respectively, while retaining the same processors, 8 GB of DDR5 RAM and 256 GB of PCIe storage as their NUC130Xi7 and NUC130Xv9 counterparts.
Not only are SimplyNUC's cheaper than its original set, but they could also prove preferable to those who have a preferred third-party case in mind. For reference, all boards measure 117 x 112 mm and correspond to the 4X4 standard. Please see SimplyNUC's website for more details.
