ACEMAGIC S1: Mini PC with integrated status display starts at US$239
ACEMAGIC has just unveiled its new S1 mini PC with an integrated screen that can display various real-time info such as CPU temperature or memory load. In addition, at least one of the side panels attaches magnetically, making upgrades and maintenance less tedious.
Powering the ACEMAGIC S1 is an Intel Processor N95. Part of the company's Alder Lake-N series, this is a quad-core chip without hyperthreading support, a 3.4 GHz max turbo frequency, and Intel UHD integrated graphics with 16 Execution Units. It's paired with two M.2 SSD slots and a single DDR4 SODIMM slot (the processor is limited to single-channel memory).
Moving on to connectivity, we're looking at four USB-A ports (two capable of 5 Gbps, with the other pair limited to 480 Mbps), dual 1 GbE LAN connectors, a couple of HDMI 2.0 ports, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Also included is a wireless card with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 support.
Preorders for the ACEMAGIC S1 have already begun, with shipments expected to start on October 1. The mini PC will be available in two configurations - the version with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD costs US$239, while the variant with twice the storage will set users back US$269. Both versions come with Windows 11 Pro preinstalled.
