Realme has recently confirmed that its next flagship smartphone will be called the GT and will launch on March 3, 2021. Huawei's 2021 smartphone production is estimated at 60% less compared to 2020 as rumors of a delayed P50 launch emerge

A Chinese news site claims that Huawei plans to make not much more than 80 million phones in 2021, as opposed to the ~189 million units it shipped in 2020. Meanwhile, other reports suggest it will also cut the P50 series' supply, and also possibly delay their unveiling until later in the year than usual.

ZTE's CEO, Ni Fei, has confirmed that his company will bring the next generation of its under-display camera to the upcoming MWC Shanghai event. This technology, which features in the OEM's Axon 20 5G, enables a selfie shooter to completely conceal itself underneath the display. Its upgraded form might allow for enhanced functionality, Face Unlock included.

An Intel Core i9-11900KF processor from the Rocket Lake series has been spotted on Geekbench, where it managed a maximum frequency over 5 GHz. However, despite its fast clock rate, the single-core performance result left the i9-11900KF in the same vicinity as the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and Ryzen 9 5900X. The Zen 3 Vermeer CPUs are lengths ahead in multi-core benchmarking, though.

Samsung rolls outs One UI 3.1 update for Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note20 range, and Galaxy Z lineup but not all the features found on the Galaxy S21 phones will be present

Samsung has started the roll-out of the One UI 3.1 update for the Galaxy S20 phones, Galaxy Note20 devices, and the Galaxy Z range. While these Samsung Galaxy smartphones will receive many of the features Samsung One UI 3.1 has to offer, there will be no support for Google Discover, which is available on the Galaxy S21 series.

VAIO refreshes its 14-inch Z series with Tiger Lake-H35 CPUs, carbon fiber slim and light chassis plus impressive battery life of up to 35 h

The new Z series is only available in Japan for the time being and features three variants. The more affordable one includes an FHD display and the Core i5-11300H CPU, plus a 53 Wh battery that may last up to 34 h. VAIO also supplies more expensive variants with Core i7-11370H and i7-11375H CPUs that get FHD as well as 4K display options. Battery on the 4K display variants may last up to 17 h. All models come with light carbon fiber chassis that weigh around 1 Kg.

iPad Pro 2021 refresh with a mini LED display, new M1-rivalling SoC and better cameras tipped to launch alongside the iPad mini 6 and AirTags at mid-March hardware event

According to a new report, Apple will announce at least three new products at its next hardware event. Supposedly scheduled for March 16, the event is expected to showcase the iPad mini 6, AirTags and a 2021 refresh of the iPad Pro series. The 12.9-inch version of the latter should have some impressive hardware upgrades too, including a new SoC that will rival the Apple M1.

Apple M1-native malware targets users of the new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac Mini with unwanted Pirrit adware

Apple M1-native malware has been discovered by an independent macOS security researcher. The GoSearch22 Safari browser extension, which is linked to the infamous Pirrit adware family, can run on any M1 silicon-based device, such as the late 2020 models of the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini.
