Free PS Plus games for September 2021 offer stealth action and couch co-op fun
As in every month, Sony has recently announced its September selection of 3 free PlayStation games for PS Plus subscribers. PlayStation users with an active PS Plus subscription (from US$9 on Amazon) can download these games free of charge between September 7 and October 4. If you haven't taken advantage of the free PS Plus games for August (Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Tennis World Tour 2 und Hunter’s Arena: Legends) yet, you can still add them to your PSN account until these new games are being offered.
The main attraction this month is the stealth action game Hitman 2 by IO Interactive that was released in 2018. The game offers eight missions overall, which are set in quite extensive and diverse environments. Fans of carefully planned assassinations will certainly want to check this game out. It runs on PS5 via backwards compatibility as well as on PS4.
For players who prefer to confront their opponents head-on, Sony has another action game up its sleeve. The multiplayer shooter Predator: Hunting Grounds is also free for PS Plus subscribers with a PS4 or PS5. Last but not least, another frantic but definitely much more colorful game is free only for PS Plus customers who have already upgraded to a PlayStation 5. The co-op title Overcooked: All You Can Eat! is a lot of fun with friends and revolves around the task of preparing as many dishes as possible in a set amount of time, which can only be achieved through teamwork.
