Xiaomi has opened registration for the Xiaomi Explorers scheme for 2021. Those interested simply need to answer a few straightforward questions and could eventually find themselves first in line in regard to testing future Xiaomi products. A Mi Account is required to apply to be a Xiaomi Explorer.

Xiaomi has posted a last call for those interested in participating in its Xiaomi Explorers program. Registration has already begun and can be carried out via a valid global Mi account. If chosen from all the applicants, a Xiaomi Explorer will supposedly get the opportunity to “use Xiaomi products before anyone else”.

There are a few hoops that need jumping through before a Mi Fan can become a full-fledged Xiaomi Explorer. The Chinese OEM requires that applicants fill out an introduction form by answering some questions about themselves. After that, it seems some “Life Artist” skills need to be demonstrated, as it appears Xiaomi is looking for content creators to fill these tester roles.

Lastly, would-be Xiaomi Explorers who fancy getting to grips with something like the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series need to share some of their creative work, which can be sent in the form of text, images, or videos. Basically, the company wants to see how people use their products for creative purposes, or as Xiaomi describes it, for the “magical moments in your life”.
