It has only been a few days since Xiaomi launched the Mi Notebook Pro and Mi Notebook Ultra in India, following on from the Mi Notebook Pro 14 and Mi Notebook Pro 15 that the company revealed in China in March. However, Xiaomi has also recently announced the Mi Notebook Pro Enhanced series, which are now available from third-party retailers outside of China.
The term 'Enhanced Edition' is rather misleading in our opinion, as Xiaomi has only swapped out the previous Tiger Lake-H35 processors for slightly faster ones. Accordingly, the Mi Notebook Pro 14 Enhanced Edition comes with the Core i5-11320H or the Core i7-11390H, up from the Core i5-11300H and Core i7-11370H in the original model.
All other elements of the Mi Notebook Pro 14 carry over for the Enhanced Edition. Hence, the Mi Notebook Pro 14 Enhanced Edition also has a 16:10 display that peaks at 120 Hz and 300 nits. The IPS panel operates natively at 1,600p, too.
Currently, the Mi Notebook Pro 14 Enhanced Edition costs US$1,428 on AliExpress or US$1,549.99 on Banggood for the version with a Core i7-11390H and an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU. Incidentally, both prices are well above the device's Chinese MSRP of CNY 6,999 (~US$1,076).
Alternatively, AliExpress sells Core i5-11320H versions with or without a GeForce MX450 GPU for US$1,104 and US$1,240, respectively. All configurations come with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, for reference.
