Microsoft has recently increased the prices of all Surface products, but the company is also said to have plans for the Surface Pro and the Surface Laptop ($1,549 on Amazon) in addition to the price increase. Winfuture has already been able to track down initial details about these products from retailers.
According to this, Microsoft is once again planning certain models with ARM processors for consumers as well as business versions with Intel chips, whereby it is usually straightforward to buy the business models from independent retailers, at least in some regions. If the retailer data is complete, the Surface Laptop 15 with ARM chip will be discontinued, the smaller Surface Laptop with 13.8-inch screen will be available with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Plus as well as with the Snapdragon X2 Elite, accompanied by 16 GB to 24 GB RAM and a 512 GB to 1 TB SSD.
The next-generation Surface Pro intended for consumers will reportedly be offered with the same ARM processors and in the same colors, namely "Platinum" and "Black", but the Microsoft Surface Pro will be offered with 16 GB to 32 GB RAM and with 256 GB to 512 GB storage. More choice is expected for the business devices.

Surface Pro with Intel Panther Lake, OLED and 5G
The Microsoft Surface Pro for business customers will be available in numerous variants. Buyers not only have the choice between a 13-inch LCD or OLED display, but also between an Intel Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7 Panther Lake processor, which is supported by 16 GB to 64 GB of RAM. An integrated 5G modem is reportedly available for an additional charge.
The business version of the Surface Laptop, on the other hand, will be offered with either a 13.8-inch or 15-inch OLED display and, just like the Surface Pro, will be based on Intel Panther Lake and 16 GB to 64 GB RAM. Prices are expected to be even higher than before, but specific details on the price and launch date of the next-generation Surface Pro and Surface Laptop are still pending.
