MSI launches new 16-inch gaming laptop with 12 GB version of Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070

MSI has presented numerous new gaming laptops today. All set to be available globally, the new Cyborg, Crosshair, Raider and Titan range combines Nvidia RTX 50 series GPUs with a range of Intel Arrow Lake and Raptor Lake processors.
Today's announcement contains a reference to a GPU that Nvidia has not yet formally revealed, too. Namely, MSI mentions that its Crosshair 16 Max HX E2WGXK is set to be available exclusively with the 'Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU 12GB GDDR7'.
For context, MSI sells its older Max HX E2WFK and E2WGK variants with 8 GB versions of the GeForce RTX 5060 and GeForce RTX 5070 to match non-Max alternatives (curr. $1,749 on Amazon). Unfortunately, MSI does not provide any more details about this new GeForce RTX 5070 laptop graphics card.
Instead, it has confirmed that this 12 GB GPU will be joined by new Core Ultra 7 251HX and Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processors, as well as the existing Core Ultra 9 275HX. Presumably, Nvidia is now on the verge of making an official announcement of its own. MSI has not revealed when the new Crosshair 16 Max HX E2WGXK will be available to purchase, though.
