Honor releases new 14-inch laptop with 92 Wh battery and Intel Panther Lake

Honor has released a 14-inch laptop in its home market. For context, the company introduced the MagicBook Pro 14 2026 in March during MWC 2026, which we have since reviewed. However, this laptop is still not available anywhere as a foil to the Galaxy Book6 Pro or the MacBook Pro 14 (curr. $1,799 on Amazon).
Instead, Honor has updated the standard MagicBook 14 with Intel's Panther Lake platform. Weighing in at 1.39 kg, the MagicBook 14 2026 features a 2.8K, 120 Hz and 430-nit IPS display with a 243 PPI and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Additionally, this 14-inch display is said to cover 100% of the sRGB colour space while delivering a 1,200:1 contrast ratio.

Although this display is a downgrade on the 120 Hz OLED panel in the MagicBook Pro 14 2026, Honor installs an otherwise identical 92 Wh battery. The MagicBook 14 2026 appears to share the same ports as its Pro counterpart too. Honor has swapped Thunderbolt 4 connectivity for dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports though, which peak at 10 Gbps apiece.
The MagicBook 14 2026 also drops to a mechanical trackpad, rather than the haptic equivalent in the MagicBook Pro 14 2026. Honor's new 14-inch laptop starts at CNY 6,999 (~$1,025) with a Core Ultra 5 336H processor, 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage in Floating Gold and Star Grey finishes. Meanwhile, Honor charges CNY 8,799 (~$1,319) for a Core Ultra X7 358H alternative with the same memory combination.
