Huawei confirms 2026 global launch event with at least half a dozen new devices rumoured

Huawei launched numerous devices last week, including its latest answer to the MacBook Air (curr. $949 on Amazon). Also, the company introduced several unusual devices like the Sound X5, Pura X Max and the Watch Buds 2. However, this was only true in China.

Now, it has signalled that a new global launch event is on the horizon. Posting across its social media channels, Huawei also appears to have teased that multiple devices will be unveiled during the same event. While the company has not revealed product names yet, we can infer a few from the video embedded below.

For instance, the Watch Fit 5 Pro is shown throughout, which arrived last week too alongside the cheaper Watch Fit 5. Additionally, it looks like the Enjoy 90 Pro Max will be making an appearance as well, but as the Nova 15 Max instead. Moreover, a large tablet is also visible, which is currently rumoured to be the MatePad Pro Max. Reportedly, Huawei will unveil a new luxury smartwatch on May 7 too, along with the Watch Kids X1 series and a 'Racing Legend' variant of the existing Watch GT Runner 2.
