The Amazfit Bip Max remains unofficial for now.
Amazfit is preparing to launch a new smartwatch that matches the Cheetah 2 Pro in many areas. Equipped with a 3,000 nit AMOLED display and a battery that should deliver up to 20 days of usage between charges, the Amazfit Bip Max could cost roughly $135 based on a recent retailer leak.

Evidence that Amazfit is developing another new smartwatch emerged earlier this month. As we discussed at the time, the A2568 appeared in the wake of Amazfit releasing the Cheetah 2 Pro globally.

However, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) did not provide too much information about the unreleased smartwatch. Instead, it shared a sketch of the device and confirmed that it featured a larger battery than the Cheetah 2 Pro. Nonetheless, a New Zealand retailer indicates that Amazfit may be much closer to launching a new smartwatch than we previously expected.

Specifically, the retailer has listed the Bip Max with several official-looking promotional images. Embedded above and below, the NCP Group mentions the model number 'A2435', which is actually the model number for the older Bip 6. Thus, we suspect that the A2568 and Bip Max are one and the same device.

Based on these leaked images, the Bip Max will match the Cheetah 2 Pro with a 3,000-nit AMOLED display and up to 20 days of battery life. While the Bip Max jumps to a 2.07-inch display, this sits within a 2 mm smaller case size than the Cheetah 2 Pro. Amazfit has included 4 GB of storage within its new 46 mm smartwatch though, compared to 32 GB inside the Cheetah 2 Pro.

Amazfit's next smartwatch should be considerably cheaper than the Cheetah 2 Pro too (curr. $449 on Amazon). As the image above shows, the NCP Group has priced the Bip Max at NZD 268 (~$155). This pricing includes 15% GST, though. As a result, it seems likely that the Bip Max could launch for closer to $135 in the US. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when that will be the case for now.
