New Amazfit smartwatch detailed with Cheetah 2 Pro surpassing battery

The Cheetah 2 Pro may not be Amazfit's latest smartwatch for long, though. If a recent regulatory filing is anything to go by, then the company is preparing to introduce a new square or squircle-shaped smartwatch like the Bip 6 and Active 2 Premium before it (curr. $149 on Amazon).
For the time being, it is unclear whether the smartwatch pictured above and below relates to a new Bip, Active or even Cheetah release. The FCC has left a few tidbits that indicate that we would be looking at a new Active or Cheetah Square smartwatch rather than a cheaper Bip alternative, though.
For instance, the Amazfit A2568 contains a 550 mAh battery. Over 60% larger than the 340 mAh battery inside the Bip 6, this capacity likely precludes the A2568 from being the Bip 7. The same is true for the Active 2 Square, whose battery is over 50% smaller than the A2568.
By contrast, the Cheetah 2 Pro leverages a 540 mAh battery. Amazfit's new smartwatch is also known as 'A2564'. Hence, the FCC may have provided a first look at the Cheetah 2 Pro Square. The FCC's confidentiality agreement with Amazfit over releasing A2568 schematics, diagrams and device photos expires on September 29, 2026. Amazfit could well release its new smartwatch before that agreement expires.
