Osmo Pocket 4 Pro leaks after official DJI announcement with earlier than expected release hinted

DJI released the Osmo Pocket 4 earlier today. Covered in our dedicated launch article, the new vlogging camera departs from the existing Osmo Pocket 3 (curr. $499 on Amazon) in several crucial areas. The company was not finished with making Osmo Pocket-related announcements, though.
Instead, DJI quickly revealed the Osmo Pocket 4 Pro on Chinese social media. Stylised as the Osmo Pocket 4P, the new vlogging camera does not have a firm release date for now, like the company's new microphones, the apparent Osmo Mobile 8P or its Lito drone series.

Nonetheless, Igor Bogdanov has already obtained additional footage in which the Osmo Pocket 4P can be seen in the background. Embedded below, the video shows the unreleased vlogging camera before controlled by a compact remote that then attaches to an Osmo Mobile-style device.
Based on recent leaks, the latter is the Osmo Mobile 8P that will launch with the remote also shown. Hence, the Osmo Pocket 4P may support deeper integrations with the Osmo Mobile series than previous Osmo Pocket releases.
DJI has hinted that the Osmo Mobile 8P will arrive on April 21 in China, with no word yet on a global release. Whether that launch date also applies to the Osmo Pocket 4P remains unclear for now. Previously, DJI's dual lens vlogging camera was expected to debut in June 2026.
