Osmo Pocket 4 Pro to start at $700 with 4x zoom camera; DJI aims for June release

Another day - another DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro leak. While the standard Osmo Pocket 4 is debuting tomorrow, April 16, a fresh leak has surfaced regarding its more pro-oriented sibling, the Osmo Pocket 4 Pro.
This latest information reinforces the previously reported June 2026 release window for the Pro model, suggesting DJI is opting for a staggered launch strategy. However, the leak also sheds light on the dual-camera setup. While previous reports pointed toward 3x optical zoom, the latest rumor mentions 4x optical zoom paired with a 2x in-sensor crop (already present on the Pocket 3 and Pocket 4).
The 2x to 4x zoom configuration actually makes more sense than the previously rumored 3x camera. The leap from 2x to 3x is pretty negligible in real-world use, whereas a 4x dedicated lens provides a distinct focal range that justifies the added bulk (and cost) of a second camera.
Coincidentally (or not), this would align the Pocket 4 Pro with the camera setup of the iPhone 17 Pro and the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, which have 4x optical zoom snappers (the iPhone 18 Pro isn’t getting a new zoom camera).

Osmo Pocket 4 Pro: 4x zoom, higher price tag rumored for DJI’s pro-grade vlogging gimbal camera
The leak also mentions expected (but not final) prices for the Pocket 4 and Pocket 4 Pro. Based on the figures of 3,499 RMB and 4,999 RMB, which converts to 513 USD and 733 USD, we can expect the Pocket 4 Pro to cost roughly $200 more than the vanilla Pocket 4. In fact, the leaked price of the Pocket 4 aligns with another recent leak, which says the Pocket 3's successor will start at $499 (promotional offer).
While the rumored 200 USD price gap is significant, it is possible the Pocket 4 Pro will be sold exclusively as a "Creator Combo" by default, bundling essential accessories like the DJI Mic 3 and battery handle to justify the premium.
As with all pre-release info, this leak should be taken with a pinch of salt. Rumors aside, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is (most definitely) dropping tomorrow, April 16, 2026, 12:00 PM GMT. Stay tuned!
