Osmo Pocket 4: Pricing for new DJI vlogging camera revealed before global release
Much has been said about DJI's next vlogging camera in the last few days. On the one hand, the company has been actively teasing the device itself. On the other hand, leakers like Igor Bogdanov have been sharing numerous official photos on X before the Osmo Pocket 4's release.
Now, billbil_kun has stepped up with pricing details. Allegedly, DJI initially intended to release the Osmo Pocket 4 for as much as its predecessor (curr. $499 on Amazon). Thus, the Osmo Pocket 4 was set to arrive for €539 with the following accessories:
- 1x Gimbal Clamp
- 1x Handle with 1/4-inch thread
- 1x Portable Carrying Pouch
- 1x USB-C to USB-C PD Cable (USB 3.1)
- 1x Wrist Strap
However, billbil_kun adds that a last-minute change will now see the Osmo Pocket 4 starting at €499 in the Eurozone. The Creator Combo is said to have received an even steeper discount from €679 to €619, too. Whether these are launch offers or permanent price changes remains unknown at this point.
Aligning with recent leaks, billbil_kun asserts that the Creator Combo contains all of the Standard Combo's accessories plus an LED fill light, a wide-angle lens, a mini tripod, an additional carry bag and a Mic 3 transmitter plus associated accessories like a magnetic clip and windscreens. Currently, the Osmo Pocket 4 is expected to launch on April 16 with the following hardware:
- 1-inch CMOS sensor with 14 stops of dynamic range and 2x lossless zoom/4x digital zoom
- 4K and 240 FPS slow-motion with 10-bit D-log support
- ActiveTrack 7.0 & Intelligent Focus
- Up to 240 minutes battery life at 1080p/24 FPS
- 4-channel OsmoAudio output
- 107 GB built-in storage
- USB 3.1 & Wi-Fi 6 connectivity
