DJI Osmo Pocket 4 and 4 Pro banned from US release; FCC pulls approval, says leak - is this the end?

After the launch of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, which was expected to arrive in the US after approval from the FCC, new information coming from industry reports on Threats suggest a significant shift in DJI’s product roadmap for the United States.
According to insight shared by Benjamin O’Carroll, DJI reportedly submitted several upcoming products to the FCC, including the Osmo Pocket 4 (OP041), Pocket 4 Pro (PP041), and the Mic Mini 2. However, evidence indicates that approval for nearly all these devices has been pulled from the FCC database - except for the new OM 8 Pro gimbal and the Mic Mini 2.
The situation stems from escalating regulatory friction between DJI and the US. While initial legislative attempts to ban DJI drones were modified, current reports suggest the FCC is withholding approvals for a broader range of DJI hardware - even items not explicitly on the "covered list."
DJI has reportedly filed complaints regarding these denials. For US creators, this means the Osmo Pocket 4 and Osmo Pocket 4 Pro may never see an official domestic release. While "gray market" imports remain an option, they carry risks of customs seizures and a lack of local warranty support or repairs.
