Huawei Sound X5 wraps 6 speakers and 160W of power in 18-carat gold

The Huawei Sound speaker has a successor in the form of the Huawei Sound X5. The new model retains the shape of its predecessor, but features a partially transparent body. The upper two thirds are equipped with RGB lighting that can pulsate to the beat of the music.
Huawei installs a 126 millimeter woofer, which is combined with two passive radiators and a 60 watt amplifier, allowing bass frequencies of up to 36 Hz to be played. In addition, there are four 48 millimeter mid-range drivers and a 35 millimeter tweeter, each combined with a 20 watt amplifier. This gives the 3.15 kilogram speaker a total output power of 160 watts, with treble reproduction up to 40 kHz.
The sound can be automatically adjusted to the respective room so that the Huawei Sound X5 should also sound good when placed directly against a wall or in a corner. Six microphones make it possible to communicate with an AI voice assistant. If you wear a Huawei Watch, you can pair it with the speaker to automatically turn down the music playback when you fall asleep. The housing is touch-sensitive - placing a hand on the speaker mutes it and the lighting can be controlled by touching the side. Music can be transmitted either wired via AUX, or wireless via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
