Huawei Watch Buds 2 hides wireless earbuds in titanium smartwatch

The Huawei Watch Buds is finally getting a successor, but the concept remains unchanged - Huawei continues to hide very compact wireless earbuds in the body of a smartwatch. With a weight of 54.5 grams, the new model is 12 grams lighter, and with a height of 14.69 millimetres, it is also slightly thinner.
The titanium body is said to be significantly more scratch-resistant than its predecessor. Although the crown on the right-hand side cannot be rotated, pressing on it flips the display upwards so that the earphones can be removed. Clever: The earbuds automatically detect whether they are being worn on the left or right. They support active noise cancellation. Played music can be paused by touching the back of the earbuds.
Huawei advertises a battery life of three hours with active ANC; the earbuds are automatically charged in the smartwatch. The watch itself should achieve a battery life of three days with normal use. One disadvantage of this design is that the Huawei Watch Buds 2 is only IP54-certified and therefore not fully water-resistant. The smartwatch features a high-quality 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a brightness of 3,000 nits.
Huawei has installed a gyroscope, a heart rate and SpO2 sensor as well as an ambient light sensor, but does not have an ECG or a skin temperature sensor. However, the smartwatch should be able to determine the risk of high blood pressure and atrial fibrillation based on heart rate data.
