The Huawei Watch Ultimate Design is getting a diamond edition

Huawei is preparing to launch a new variant of its premium smartwatch, the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design. The new variant will be announced in China on April 20 alongside a handful of other products including another smartwatch, the Huawei Watch Buds 2.

The new wearable is called the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Extraordinary Master Diamond Edition and it will join the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Royal Edition that was announced last November in China before launching in Europe in January 2026.

According to a teaser poster shared on Weibo, the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Extraordinary Master Diamond Edition is covered in diamonds. There's a diamond at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock marks, and a bunch of diamonds on the strap, too. Even the case has a diamond cut design.

The Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Extraordinary Master Diamond Edition is also quite different from the Royal Edition. Where the latter has a digital crown and two round buttons, the Diamond Edition has a digital crown and a pill-shaped button. Overall, the design of the smartwatch seems to be catered towards women just as the Royal Edition has a masculine design.

There's no info on the price of the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Extraordinary Master Diamond Edition, but it definitely won't be cheap. For context, the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Royal Edition cost CNY 24,999 in China, €3299 in Europe, and £2999.99 in the UK.
