Chuwi intros refreshed AuBox X mini PC with capable Intel Arc iGPU

Chuwi has introduced an upgraded version of the AuBox X. To look back, the company introduced the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V-powered variant of the mini PC back in March 2026, and now, the newer variant has launched with a more capable CPU.
The newly introduced configuration features the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V, and the major difference between the two is the iGPU. While the former features the Intel Arc 130V, the latter upgrades it to the Arc 140V. Both are capable of handling most modern games at the 1080p resolution, but the latter is a better pick.
Specifically, it features 8 Battlemage cores, and per our benchmarks, the Arc 140V can run almost all AAA games with the 1080p low preset at around 30 FPS or higher. The Chuwi AuBox X has a USB4 port, which brings eGPU support (Minisforum DEG 2 curr. $239 on Amazon), but it would have been better to see an OCuLink port as well.
Speaking of which, besides the USB4 port, the mini PC has the following:
- 5x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
- 1x 2.5G LAN
- 2x HDMI 2.1
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 1x USB Type-C with 100W PD charging support
- 1x 3.5 mm audio
There's WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connections. Chuwi also highlights that the mini PC features a 0.67-liter chassis, and this small form factor makes it ideal for compact workspaces. The system comes equipped with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, but there are two M.2 slots, with one having support for PCIe 5.0 SSD.
As for the price, the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V option of the Chuwi AuBox X has a launch price of $759. This price is with the early bird discounts in place, and after May 20, 2026, the $70 coupon discount will expire.
