The new 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller works with both Windows and Android devices. If you plan to use it with an Android smartphone, especially when on the go, it is best to get a mobile clip. 8BitDo has now released a mobile clip specifically made for the new controller.

It has been a few weeks since the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Controller was announced. Available to buy on Amazon for $59.99, the wireless controller is designed for Windows and Android devices. However, if you are going to use a controller with an Android smartphone, it is best enjoyed with a mobile clip. 8BitDo has now released a mobile clip specifically made for the Ultimate 2 Controller, and it is available to buy now.

The 8BitDo Mobile Clip for 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Controller is designed for phones with a width of between 49 and 85mm. It has a reinforced aluminum frame and ABS plastic, and features an adjustable angle. The mobile clip is available to buy now on Amazon for $14.99.

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller connects to Android devices via Bluetooth but connects to Windows via wireless or wired USB connection. It has TMR joysticks which have higher sensitivity and greater precision than hall effects joysticks. It also has a switch for changing between linear hall effect triggers and non-linear tactile triggers.

8BitDo's new controller has a special feature called 8Speed which uses an exclusive wireless technology that helps maintain a stable connection at an ultra-low latency of 1ms. Other features are customizable 6-axis motion control, a 1,000Hz polling rate, rumble vibration, and a 1,000mAh battery capacity.
