Over the years, Sony has released many limited edition controllers based on video games such as the DualSense Wireless Controller Concord Limited Edition and the DualSense Wireless Controller Astro Bot Limited Edition. Now, the list has grown with the launch of the DualSense Wireless Controller The Last of Us Limited Edition.
The new controller looks like a mashup of the standard White controller and the recently released Midnight Black DualSense Wireless Controller (available on Amazon for $74.00) with its mix of white and black. However, what makes it special are the trophy icons from the game printed across the body in black gloss. Three of the trophies have been highlighted in white - The Firefly, Moth, and Wolf.
The controller also has white joysticks, a white PS logo, and white trigger and shoulder buttons. The back is completely black save for the name of the game and Sony branding printed in white. Although, the giant text seems to look garish compared to the rest of the design.
The DualSense Wireless Controller The Last of Us Limited Edition will be available to buy for $84.99 in the US, €84.99 in Europe, and £74.99 in the UK in limited quantities. Pre-orders will begin on March 14 at 10 AM local time (7 AM PT in the US) on the PlayStation Direct website and at participating retailers. It will then be available for anyone to purchase on April 10.
The release of the controller comes weeks before the release of The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PC which will be available via Steam and the Epic Game Store on April 3, 2025.
