Recently, Realme introduced the P3 Pro and P3x variants in India, and now the company has launched the vanilla variant, i.e., the P3 5G smartphone, ahead of the promised launch date of 19th March. Specs-wise, it isn’t very different from the other P3 series smartphones. More specifically, it retains the same camera, battery, and display specs as the P3x smartphone. The vanilla variant is most likely aimed at budget-level users with slightly higher demands.
For starters, the P3 5G comes with a slightly smaller 6.67-inch (vs. 6.83-inch on the P3 Pro 5G) FHD+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2000 nits and a refresh of 120 Hz. For photography, the device features a dual rear camera setup at the back consisting of a 50 MP primary camera and a 2 MP portrait sensor. At the front, there’s a 16 MP shooter for capturing selfies and video chats.
The Realme P3 5G is powered by a Qualcomm-made Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage with no room for storage expansion. It runs Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0 out of the box. Dimensionally, the device measures 163.1 x 75.6 x 7.9 mm (6.43 x 2.97 x 0.31 inches) and weighs 194 grams (0.42 lbs).
Furthermore, it houses a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 45 W wired charging. Other features of the P3 5G include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an IP69 water and dust resistance rating, and NFC support.
Available in Space Silver, Comet Grey, and Nebula Pink, the Realme P3 5G is priced at Rs 16,999 ($195) for the base 6 GB + 128 GB model, and the top-end 8 GB + 256 GB variant costs Rs 19,999 ($230). It will be available via Realme’s official website and Flipkart starting on 19th March.
