Ulefone Armor 30 Pro rugged smartphone offers night vision camera and large second display

We've reported on other Ulefone products before, and now the Chinese company has unveiled its new Armor 30 Pro, which is a rugged smartphone with a quite comprehensive feature set. The first thing buyers will notice is the secondary touchscreen on the back, which is fairly large at 3.4 inches and has a resolution of 412 x 960 pixels. The smartphone can be fully used on both displays, but the second panel might be useful when streaming content and looking for a preview or trailer of a TV show or movie.

The Ulefone smartphone further features a 4-watt speaker that's supposed to hit up to 118dB, and it also has a colored LED ring that can be used for notifications. The camera setup includes a night vision camera with a resolution of 64 megapixels and four infrared LEDs. Meanwhile, the main screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 700 nits peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The Armor 30 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC, a 5G-capable chipset that is paired with 16GB of RAM. There are 512GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD. The battery has a capacity of 12,800mAh and can be recharged with 66 watts, while reverse charging with up to 10 watts is supported as well.

Moreover, the rugged phone comes with IP68 certification and is supposed to survive drops according to the MIL-STD-810H standard. Consequently, the rugged chassis is 0.83 inches thick, and the Armor 30 Pro weighs more than a pound. Ulefone has not announced an exact release date or price yet, but impatient smartphone buyers can find dozens of alternatives on Amazon.
