The Ulefone Armor 30 Pro can now be ordered. It's a rugged smartphone that features a large secondary screen on the back as well as a night vision camera that can take photos in low-light conditions.
The Armor 30 Pro is Ulefone’s latest Android smartphone that has just become available. To be more exact, it can be imported via Aliexpress for prices starting at $402, but the coupon code "ULEAR30" grants a $50 discount until April 1. Shipping to the US usually takes around one to two weeks, but returns would probably be rather complicated. Ulefone smartphones are also sold on Amazon, so some prospective buyers might want to wait a little bit longer.
Even for a rugged smartphone, which often offer some more or less rare features and specs, the Armor 30 Pro is remarkably well-equipped. It has a secondary 3.4-inch screen which can allows owners to fully use the smartphone or conveniently control music playback, for example. The night vision camera has a resolution of 64 megapixels, while the built-in 4W speaker can hit a volume of up to 118dB. This speaker also has special LEDs that can be used as a notification light.
In addition to that, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X with 16GB LPDDR5 memory, while the internal UFS 3.1 flash offers 512GB of storage capacity and can be expanded via microSD even if users install two physical SIM cards. Last but not least, the Armor 30 Pro runs on Android 14 and sports a 12,800mAh battery that supposedly lasts up to 690 hours on standby with a full charge.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
