32-inch Samsung Odyssey G7 4K OLED Monitor with 330Hz mode is $500, beating Amazon deal

The Samsung Odyssey G7 combines the advantages of an OLED monitor and an esports display. Switching between 4K/165Hz and 1080p/330Hz dual modes, it enhances cinematic and competitive gaming. The current Amazon sale price is $700, which is already a historic low. However, B&H Photo has topped the deal with an additional $200 discount.
Adding the 32-inch OLED monitor to carts should automatically apply a $200 coupon. The final $500 price for the G73SH model is $600 off its May 2026 launch MSRP. Please note that shipping charges and taxes could apply.
Bright enough?
The Samsung Odyssey uses a WOLED rather than a QD-OLED panel. As a result, colors may not look as brilliant in the brightest scenes. Its typical and peak HDR brightness of 275/1300 nits is also average compared to high-end LG and Asus rivals. Still, the G7's glossy screen makes images stand out more than matte coatings.

Some competitors boast higher refresh rates, but the 4K/165Hz toggle for the G73SH should satisfy single-player gamers. Meanwhile, the 330Hz alternative at a Full HD resolution caters to multiplayer first-person shooters. G-Sync support helps reduce stuttering, regardless of which dual mode option is active.
PC and console users can expect the deep blacks and low response times native to OLED monitors. For Xbox Series X and PS5 owners, the 32-inch 16:9 format is more practical than ultrawide displays. A single HDMI 2.1 port and DisplayPort 1.4 connection provide enough bandwidth for most setups.
Productivity limitations
The Samsung Odyssey gaming monitor ships with an ergonomic stand to accommodate different configurations. On the other hand, its productivity potential suffers from the lack of a KVM switch and USB-C charging port. WOLED technology can cause text fringing, though the Rtings review downplays this drawback.
Normally, the 32-inch 4K arena is full of contenders that may offer higher brightness. The LG UltraGear 32GX870B is another dual-mode OLED gaming monitor that can reach a higher 480Hz at 1080p. It's also brighter and has more robust connectivity. Even so, buyers won’t find it on Amazon or anywhere else near the B&H Photo deal price of $500 for the G7.
