Next week is peak season for new mobile products in China. Starting on Monday with the Vivo X300 launch, followed on Wednesday by Honor with its portfolio of new products, most notably the Magic 8 generation. On Thursday, October 16, Oppo will round off a busy week with the Find X9 und Find X9 Pro Hasselblad camera flagships, which will be flanked by two more recently confirmed products: the Oppo Watch S and the Oppo Pad 5 tablet.
Oppo Find X9 in striking color and with Hasselblad camera
The red color, confirmed at least for the regular Find X9, is likely to entice many fans. Whether it will also get a global launch is unclear. The teaser video below primarily highlights features such as the now standard 50/200 MP photos (formerly referred to in marketing as "Hasselblad 8K Ultra HD photos) and the extremely thin 1.15 mm display bezels of the two new smartphone flagships. 4K video is another highlight, now available as standard at 120 fps as well as Dolby Vision and Log. A camera kit with a teleconverter will also be available, at least in China.
Super-thin Oppo Watch S in tow
The Oppo Watch S is also on the release schedule and bears the "S" in its name mainly because of its slim design, as the teaser video below reveals. However, no tech specs for the new Oppo smartwatch have emerged yet, and it is also unclear whether the smartwatch will get a global launch together with the Find X9.
Oppo Pad 5 also launches next week
Last but not least, tablet fans can also look forward to the launch of the Oppo Pad 5, about which there has already been a leak. The potential successor to the 13-inch tablet, otherwise known as the OnePlus Pad 3, is advertised in the teaser video below with stylus operation and a keyboard cover. According to the leak, it will feature a 12-inch display with 3K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, and apparently a 10,300 mAh battery. In addition to the purple color, a white and gray model can also been seen in the teaser.
