ZPG A1 Unicorn pricing and full specifications revealed for GameCube and PS2 retro gaming handheld
A few months have passed since Z-Pocket (ZPG) announced the A1 Unicorn. Since then, the company unveiled the Game Bubble albeit without confirming how much the device would cost. Nonetheless, pre-sale pricing for the A1 Unicorn implies that the Game Bubble will be a pricey affair whenever it does come out.
Specifically, the A1 Unicorn has landed on AliExpress for $216.71 in three colour options. While on the expensive side for a gaming handheld, the A1 Unicorn appears to share much of its hardware with recent smartphones like the Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus and the Xiaomi POCO M6 Pro. According to the AliExpress product listing, the A1 Unicorn features a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, as well as 6 GB of RAM and a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 18 W wired charging.
Thus, the gaming handheld has two ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores clocked at 2.2 GHz, six Cortex-A55 CPU cores at 2 GHz and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Additionally, ZPG has included a six-axis gyroscope, a small fan for maximising performance and a 4-inch display that outputs at 720 x 720 pixels in a 1:1 aspect ratio. Please note that although the A1 Unicorn is orderable now, deliveries will not start until mid-May 2024 at the earliest.
